About Me.

Abigail Dayton,
Resident in Counseling
Welcome! I support individuals who are ready to reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with the deeper rhythm of their lives. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, often carrying old patterns or unprocessed experiences that have shaped how they move through the world. My approach is relational, compassionate, and integrative. I honor both the vulnerability and the courage it takes to begin this kind of work, and I’m committed to walking alongside you at your pace.
I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship issues, grief, stress management, attachment and adjustment related concerns, and women's issues. With a background in school counseling, I aim to create a space where your nervous system can soften and your inner wisdom can begin to emerge.
Whether you're navigating life transitions or carrying emotional wounds that feel hard to name, therapy can be a space to slow down and reconnect with your strengths.
I am currently accepting new clients who are located anywhere in Virginia for telehealth sessions. If this sounds like a good fit- or if you'd simply like to learn more - please don't hesitate to reach out!
